Walk

So we come across this black snake spread out across the bridge..well I almost stepped on it then jumped back and called Dallas who almost stepped on it and jumped away. Well Dallas was not done investigating and didn't understand why he couldn't get closer. Meanwhile the snake has coiled and its head is hovering ready to strike while Dallas is fascinated and of course not listening. Finally thats over and monster comes over to get on the leash.
So my plan is to throw rocks at the snake so it will move. However my aim is horrible for example I threw probably 50 rocks and hit it once because the rock bounced hahaha. So finally we were defeated and walked the other way do monster got an extra long walk today.

Busy busy

Charlie was dropped off that the vet this morning for his heartworm treatment and will be picked up Friday for 3 weeks of rest and relaxation. Pretty drive through the mountains on the way there and back.
And monster is loving his mom time and behaving like you wouldn't believe.

Monster

Monster was mad that I wouldn't let him in the bedroom so he transferred his anger to the brown blanket that was Layed out nicely on the foot stool he is on and he made his bed by pushing it into a ball.

Charlie's last day before treatment

Charlie enjoying some of his last day before heartworm treatment. He leaves in the morning for a three day vet treatment then back here to rest for 3 weeks. Dallas and Nash will be so.sad to loose their playmate.

Monster hated both but looked so cute I couldn't stop laughing.

The forever dog regret!

Just found these pictures of Dallas's favorite dog and the dog I should have kept to be part of our family. Teddy was a 90 pd. 10 month old golden and super sweet and they were in love instantly.

 

Yesterday

Charlie went from being loopy and acting drugged to feeling completely better yesterday and today thus far. He is not suppose to do anything active for 10 days after being fixed but first thing in the morning he just wants to play with monster outside. And so being that he will be confined to being inside and calm for 3 weeks starting next week I feel like I should let him play as much as he can this week.

Waiting to go outside so they can run around like crazies.

Busy day

Charlie was at the vet all day getting fixed. Dallas was so very well behaved today I was pretty sure it was an imposter. Picked Charlie up and found out he has congestion in his lungs among other things AND heartworms! So waiting to hear about treatment and where he will stay. Once his congestion medicine.is gone he will go to the vet for his first set of heartworm treatments. Not sure yet if he will stay at the vets or just go often to get shots. He will have to be in a crate for 8 weeks while getting injections of arsenal. So he is up against a really rough few months of treatment and recovery. He is Still loopy and sleepy after the vets today and hopefully will feel better tomorrow. No activity for 10 days until he is healed.
Monster was sooo excited to see him surprisingly and then immediately wanted to play with him it was cute and sad all at the same time.

Leash walk for both dogs since Monster didn't want to listen. They both did well, and Charlie is doing really well on a leash.

Monster Mondays

Monster was terrible in the fields today so we practiced walking on a leash the whole walk. He was not very happy but then played the rest of the day with Charlie in the yard. They love to play and roll around in the grass.
Also new pillows for the living room and a wire tree haha.

We love fall!

Late wake up this morning, the dogs were ready to play.
